Ideas from the course

  • The normal break. Support d4 with c3 and develop Nbd2. Trading on d6 is optional.
  • If they mix London and Jobava, ...Na6 still works. Then ...c6 and you are solid.
  • Queen to b6. Taking on b2 is greedy — White gets a lot of play. Safer is ...c6 or ...Nc6.
