Puzzles
Tactics puzzles that stay in the rating band you are actually playing at, with enough thematic variety that you do not memorise the shape of the solution.
The puzzle pool is over 99,000 positions and runs from beginner mates in one to advanced middlegame tactics. You are always served puzzles within roughly 150 points of your current solving rating, so you are never stuck on mates in one or hopelessly lost in a position that needs engine insight.
Your solving rating is kept separately from any chess site you link, and it updates after every puzzle with an Elo-style formula. The harder you have been getting, the harder the puzzles become, and vice versa - no sudden jumps because one set was too easy.
Each puzzle is tagged with the tactical theme it illustrates - pins, forks, skewers, deflection, overload, and more. When a theme keeps showing up in your misses, the dashboard surfaces it so you can seek it out deliberately.
No. Puzzle solving is free for guests, no sign-in required. An account lets you track a personal rating and resume where you left off.
No - the pool is independent, and the selection algorithm is built around your own rating rather than a fixed list. The goal is coverage of the patterns you actually miss, not repetition of the ones everyone sees.
