Ideas from the course

  • Stonewall Dutch. Pawns on f5-e6-d5-c6. The e4 square is a hole — you attack the king anyway.
  • Bishop to d6 is the attacking piece. Queen often goes to e7 or h4.
  • White fianchettos both bishops. That is the main test — you still castle and look for ...Ne4.
